The pen is pre-filled — no reconstitution required. Prime the pen, dial the target mg dose, and inject subcutaneously. Multiple pens are typically needed to reach the daily research dose.

Mechanism

How This Works

5-Amino-1MQ selectively inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme that consumes S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) to methylate nicotinamide. Inhibiting NNMT increases cellular nicotinamide and SAM, which supports NAD+ synthesis and SIRT1 activity.

Preclinical research reports reduced adiposity and improved metabolic parameters, particularly in adipose tissue where NNMT is highly expressed.

Injection Technique

  4. 4. Pinch a skinfold; insert at 45–90° subcutaneously.
  5. 5. Depress fully, hold 5–10 seconds, withdraw.
  6. 6. Dispose of the needle in a sharps container.
